The world slackliners will gather at Obuse! I would like to make that dream come true again.
The World Cup can stand as proof of recovery after the disaster!
And then, I would like to support and give brave to Noto where is disaster-hit area!
In 2019, 2nd Slackline World Cup in Japan was held at Obuse town.
A lot of competitors came from Japan and all over the world. And massive impression and exciting was happened.
However, just one month later.
Due to typhoon No. 19, Chikuma river was flooded and around Obuse area were damaged strongly.
Furthermore, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone was subjected to movement restrictions, which dealt an additional blow.
We couldn’t continue to host the World Cup in Japan for a 3rd time.
But we never gave up.
To stand up from the disaster.
“Again, we would like to create a stage which is connected to the world”
“Again, we would like to provide you that impression”
To have above feeling, We are now working hard for the World Cup which will be held in September, 2025.
The World Cup can stand as proof of recovery after the disaster.
And then, to give a lot of courage to people who suffer from the disaster and try to recover from it in the Noto area!

【We are looking for individuals of 1,000 people sponsors】
We are looking for individuals of 1,000 people sponsors to help organize for this competition. If you corporate with this project, we will provide you “Shikishi on two latter of kanji” which is created by Eiju Hayashi who is monk and calligrapher write down directly to Shikishi as a return gift.
And 30% of sponsorship money is dominated to Noto as a relief money of 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake and Noto heavy rain disaster.
Through the experience of disaster, people and communities come together, connecting
individuals, regions, and even past, present and future. From these connections, kindness support and help are born. These hopes for recovery resonate with slackliners who train hard each day, dreaming of making slacklining an Olympic sport.

【Profile of Eiju Hayashi】
He was born in 1976. Obuse town, Nagano. The 104th generation head of Jokoji temple. In 2009, he began his creative brush workshop at Jokoji temple as a Terakoya activity. This activity is to teach “the joy of freely expressing what you think through a brush”. His free-flowing ideas are that are not normal calligraphy, and everyone doesn’t expect what he writes, and brushwork are attracting attention. Therefore, a lot of companies request title logo, package of goods, shop logo and even company log. Especially, the letter of “笑顔” for Japan Smile Project is familia with a lot of people, even foreigners who don’t know kanji 

because that letter looks like smile. As a leader of this competition, he planed this project which he can do something by himself as a brush calligraphy for this time. That project is that “individuals of sponsors that he writes two letters of kanji which you choose one of the 5 words on Shikishi as a return gift”. He keeps trying to give the world and Noto from Obuse “encouragement” to through the power of brush and ink.

・Each Shikishi is created by Eiju and shipped in the order received.
*Depending on the volume of requests, delivery may take some time.
*Please take a note that it will take a lot of time for shipping to foreign countries.
*Please take a note that we may not be able to ship during Japanese holiday in August.
・The name of sponsor will be displayed on the website of event and “individuals sponsor’s list” at the competition place. *If you don’t would like to be shown your name, please write “Do not publish name” in the remarks section.
